Family Photo Nights: October 26/27

littleblackumbrellaLooking for an affordable and fun way to get a family photo in time for those Christmas cards? We are excited to work with Patrick from Little Black Umbrella for our first Family Photo Night fundraiser. Patrick is also our new student photographer for this year’s class photos. Have a look on Facebook if you’d like to see some beautiful recent photography from around our community!

All sessions are 10 Minutes and come with a FREE 8×10 print. The cost of the session is $20. Payment can be made online during booking or by cheque (cheques MUST be received within 48 hours of booking to guarantee your spot).

Appointment times are First Come- First Serve and are limited to the times available the calendar below. Payment will not be refunded if you miss your session.

Ready to book? Follow these simple steps to book and pay for your session:

  1. Choose an available 10 Minute timeslot on Oct 26 or 27th.
  2. Fill in your name/phone/email details
  3. Complete the secure form.
  4. Enter payment details on the PayPal page (credit card required)
  5. Receive booking confirmation via email.

Done! Please be 10 minutes early for your session. No shows can not be refunded. This is a PAC Fundraiser with proceeds returning directly to Lynn Fripps! Thank you. For information or help, please send us an email.

Understanding ADHD

ADHDClick the poster to the left or the link below advertising Student Support Service’s upcoming parent/youth presentation on ADHD on October 17th from 6:00 – 7:30. All parents and youth are welcome to attend this helpful talk on what it’s really like to actually have ADHD and some strategies for success. Ted Leavitt, the presenter and counsellor at LYFS, has lived the experience and provides an authentic perspective on ADHD.

FREE CHILDCARE + REFRESHMENTS + DOOR PRIZES! We know there are many demands on a parent’s time. So we try to keep things brief while supplying hot coffee and someone to watch the little ones. Just 1-2 hours a month is all it takes!

YOUR VOTE MATTERS Your PAC Executive can run a meeting with just 5 people BUT we want more voices, more opinions and more families to vote on how to spend hard earned fundraising dollars!


HELP DECIDE THE FUTURE Wondering why we spent $2500 on library books, or wishing the school had more Technology? Arts? Music? Attend a meeting and help create the path you want to see your child’s learning take!


BE THE FIRST TO KNOW Wondering what events or classes the school offers? Want to get your calendar organized in advance? PAC meetings are a great place to get the details before they make it out to classrooms!


MAKE FRIENDS Sometimes there is nothing better than getting out of the house for an evening and meeting some new faces you’ve seen around the playground. Grab a nametag and meet some fellow parents!


MAKE A DIFFERENCE Attend a meeting and help the PAC better represent the highly diverse families of Lynn Fripps’ students. Have an idea for a fundraiser or some feedback on how we can improve? We want to hear from you!
