Calling All Bakers!

Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a Grade 3 student who loves to get creative in the kitchen, we need your help! We’re looking for baking donations to sell at our Winter Craft Fair, held on November 22^nd (see Winter Market poster!).

🍪🧁  Rice Krispie Squares, Cookies, Cinnamon Buns, Cupcakes, oh my! 🍪🧁

• All donations should be dropped off at the school by Friday afternoon, November 21st.
• If you prefer to drop off your goodies on Saturday morning, please let us know in advance by emailing President@lynnfrippspac.com

Our craft fair visitors love homemade treats, so we kindly ask for home-baked items rather than store-bought. Dust off your aprons, warm up those ovens, and get baking—it’s for a great cause!

This year’s Halloween dance will be on Thursday, October 23rd from 5-7pm.

Today is World Teacher’s Day. To our Lynn Fripps Teachers, thank you for all you do day in and day out to educate and inspire our children. We appreciate you!

Reminder our First PAC meeting of the school year is TONIGHT at 5pm on Zoom! Please check your emails for the Zoom link.

All Parents/Guardians of current students are already part of the Lynn Fripps PAC, so please come online and find out what we’re all about and what we have planned for our students for this school year.

New school year means a new Hot Lunch season is OPEN – with Opa, Chopped Leaf, Panago, Smoothies, Popcorn and more!

Our first hot lunch will be hot dogs and TCBY frozen yogurt on Friday, October 3rd.

Volunteer opportunities still open for Tuesday Booster Juice and Popcorn Days, as well as Hot Lunch Fridays.

Join us next Tuesday, September 23rd, for our annual Meet the Teacher BBQ. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect with families within our school community.

Back to School & Back to Community!

What a week! We hope your first week back-to-school has been smooth, filled with the hustle of pick-ups, drop-offs, making school lunches, and all the little things that come with a fresh start to the school year.

It’s been wonderful to see, hear, and feel the excitement on the school grounds each morning, and we hope you have reconnected with familiar faces and also introduced yourself to some new ones, as we have welcomed many new families to Lynn Fripps this year. We truly have an amazing community, and we’re so grateful you’re part of it.

Want to get more involved?

Volunteering with the PAC is a great way to connect, contribute, and make a difference, even if just for an hour or two for the year!

We’re currently looking for:

• Hot Lunch – 4 additional volunteers every 2nd Friday.

• Booster Juice – 2 additional volunteers for Booster Juice Tuesdays once a month.

Whether you’re a Parent, Guardian, or Grandparent, we would love to have you join our volunteer crew. Your commitment could be once or twice for the school year, or more if you are willing. We would love to have you! Reach out to us to sign up or learn more. It really does take a village.
