fundingthumbAbout the Classroom Enrichment Drive:
Our 2016 school year is just around the corner and would love to kick off the year with this important event. Last year, thanks to your generosity, the PAC was able to provide teachers with additional tools to enhance the educational experience for our children. The Classroom Enrichment Drive is one of the largest fundraisers for the PAC each year. 100% of the funds are provided to teachers to enhance the classroom and school environment!

This year, we hope to continue the Lynn Fripps tradition of generosity and support. Your donation of $25 per child (maximum of $50 per family) will help us achieve our goals this school year. Please help us reach our goal of raising $3,000 through the Classroom Enrichment Drive! To make a donation, please look for the newsletter form that will arrive in print and via email when school is in session.

MUNCH-A-LUNCH ACCOUNTS
On September 13th, our Hot Lunch service opens for business! Create one account per student and order lunches, sign up for Popcorn Day, pay for fundraisers, and purchase event tickets– No paper required!

CHECK THEIR BACK PACKS
As much as we do online, paper newsletters and forms often come home with students. This year, our monthly newsletter will include a fridge-ready calendar of events! Be sure to empty those backpacks regularly. 🙂

School Supply Lists & Ordering for Sept 2016

Dear Parents/Guardians:
Your teachers at Lynn Fripps Elementary School are excited to offer the opportunity to purchase your school supplies through School Start for the 2016/2017 school year.  This process will save you both time and money.

There are a few simple steps to ensure your child will receive standardized brand name products (specified by each teacher).

  1. View the specific grade level supply list:
    Grade 1 Supply List
    Grade 2 Supply List
    Grade 3 Supply List
    Grade 4-5 Supply List
  1. Plan your order!
    Order forms have a Starter Package (base package) as well as Additional Items Required. The additional items are mandatory by each teacher; they include items such as pencil cases, sharpeners, and calculators.  These products do not need to be purchased on a year to year basis if you already have them.
  1. Place your order:
    Place your order online at schoolstart.ca
    Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Place your order online in May or June and you will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $1000 cash draw!

    ** When using e-commerce sites, please ensure your browser is Internet Explorer 10.0 or later, Firefox or Chrome **Late orders will be accepted online until September 16, 2016 ($5 late fee will apply after the August long weekend)

    OR fill out the supplied order form, and return to your school with payment. Please make cheques payable to School Start

    Order Form Deadline: June 15, 2016

The supplies will be packaged and delivered directly to the school in August before your child arrives, labeled with his/her name on the School Start Package. Once your child has been placed in their permanent class, their teacher will collect the supplies for your child.

PAC Elections are May 26th– Be a Part of our Team!
